We are looking for


MTS, APPLICATION ENGINEER (M/W/D)

Your mission
  • Definition of evaluation boards and bench test set ups
  • Conduct road tests, and collect data for data sheets and characterization
  • Work closely with product definers, design engineers, business management and customers throughout the product evaluation and product release
  • Provide technical support to key customers and field applications engineers
  • Drive a beneficial combination of Trinamic’s and Maxim’s product portfolio for new and emerging applications and customer solutions
  • Hands-on experience defining, programming, testing, and debugging the evaluation boards and test setups
  • Generate the data sheet and application notes to assist customers with designs
  • Develop and validate user tools to simplify design-in and support of the motion and motor control products and provide training on it
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Control Theory, Mechatronics or related field
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience
  • Understanding of analog and digital system design
  • Experience in motion control, electrical drive technology, and control theory
  • Basic experience in interface technologies and communication protocols
  • Basic PCB design experience with schematic capture, able to create and read schematic designs
  • Programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
  • Lab testing experience using common test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, solder station…)
  • Communicate effectively, both internally and externally, via verbal and written communication
  • Verbal and written understanding of English language
  • Prioritize and manage several open tasks simultaneously, work both independently and with a cross-functional team 


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of analog mixed-signal circuit design
  • Experience in motion control, electrical drive technology, and control theory
  • Experience in Robotics and (I)IoT
  • Experience in GUI programming
  • System or hardware debug experience
